Sep 15, 2015 Note: PCI Simple Communications Controller is a generic label that Windows gives to PCI boards installed in a PC when the Drivers for the device are not installed. Cause of PCI simple communications controller Driver error.
So I did the win. 10 update and chose not to keep any personal settings/files and it feels like a fresh upgrade.
Went ahead and uninstalled the video driver and downloaded the newest one from the Nvidia site.
I noticed I have two unknown drivers in the device manager. I've searched this forum already, but didn't find anything.
The two drivers missing are:
PCI simple communication controller,
SM bus controller.
Any idea where I can find these as I've already installed all the available drivers for Win 10 on the ASUS Site.
